- To protect yourself from large financial assessments due to hail, fire, rain, etc., each homeowner should have HO6 loss assessment insurance that included hail and wind damage for their units. Not all HO6 policies contain protection from hail and wind damage so call your personal property homeowners insurance agent and discus the details. The current recommendation is that this policy should cover you for a minimum of $50,000 ($100,000 if you're insurance company offers it).
- Fort Collins Police are responsible for ticketing and towing cars illegally parked on public streets. This includes parking in a no parking zone, parking too close to fire hydrant, parking adjacent to a red curb, parking in front of a garage (including your own), abandoned vehicles, vehicles parked on the wrong side of the street, etc.
- Cars parked in an alley will be towed immediately by Import Towing and Recovery. The only parking allowed in the alleys is short term loading or unload, with the flashers on, with the driver present and in a way that does not obstruct any other driver.
